My aim for this fourth piece of the Man of Sorrow series was to maintain the softness and emotion of the man while altering colour and texture of the artwork.

About Me
- Dominique d'Orange
- I am a Belgian artist who enrolled in the art school in Bruges and studied at the academy of Fine Arts in Ostend. My immense oeuvre consists of acrylic, oil and wall paintings, aluminium and paper prints, installations, mixed media and multimedia work, photography, pastel drawings, gouache, abstract and graphic work. I have studied, taught and created my entire life and feel like I have now come to a point of having a clear and defined view upon which elements in art are necessary and fundamental according to me. My artwork evolved from a classical, academic to a contemporary and graphic style, with an emphasis on lines, compositions, relief and colour.
