In the Eye of the Beholder 3
In the Eye of the Beholder is a 12 piece series which focusses on perception and thoughts.
Each unique person has his/her own reference system which he/she uses to found thoughts and opinions. However perception is such a subjective notion: each person sees, perceives, experiences things differently, often based upon own experiences, insights and preferences.
This concept makes everything interpretable, mysterious and lined to one's identity and sense of reality

In the Eye of the Beholder 2

This is the second piece of the In the Eye of the Beholder series.
These series are the result of my new project around perception and thoughts.
As everyone is unique and no one can read another's thoughts, points of view and perception are often based upon our own experiences and insights. Whether these stroke with reality, is an eternal question.

It shows the loneliness in which one lives when you are not able to derive comfort from reality
